Eden Rain Gives Us Ethereally-Focused Vibes on “crumb”

Eden Rain is a singer/songwriter from the UK. Her sound reminds me a bit of Alessia Cara mixed with Pinkpantheress. That’s to say it’s very emotional but still bouncy. It’s melancholy but still hopeful. I think that’s the best way to talk about her sound without giving away too much about the song.

She “speaks directly to her peers.” While doing so with songs like “Crumb,” Rain tries to remind us something about her generation. She suggests that her generation “doesn’t need an old white guy with a guitar” to speak for them. I’m here for that, as millennials ALSO don’t vibe with the whole “old white guy with a guitar is the only way to songwrite” scenario. And yes, that’s regardless of how many of us respect Bob Dylan and Neal Diamond.

Anywho, before people think I or Eden don’t respect the super OGs (that’s not what we’re getting at), check out the song and support dope music in all its forms.
