In a word, this is my musical childhood wrapped into one funky composition. It’s boombap AF, features artists I would hear coming up and is lyrically nothing but BARS! This one will appear on FFoF’s Portland Say It Again album, which is the first release by the group with the original lineup since 1998.

In those 25 years, it seems the group has honed their instrumental and lyrical skills to give us something vintage but still fresh. Point blank period, the song is fire. It’s braggy without being an a-hole and it’s got some pretty slick socially-cognizant lines snuck in under the boastfulness of the whole thing. Plus, the features are so good.
