Larissa Lambert and Jeremih Sing About a “Heartbreaker”

Australian singer/songwriter Larissa Lambert has a Summer Walker-meets-Sevyn Streeter sound to her single “Heartbreaker.” Featuring Jeremih on backing vocals and the hook, “Heartbreaker” has a simple premise, but an excellent execution. That’s always a win in my book.

It’s a song about dealing with someone you know isn’t good for you (but they keep popping up in your life). I’ve been there before, dealing with women who didn’t have my best intentions at heart and were just energy vampires. It happens more than we want to admit, heartbreakers dropping in and out of peoples’ lives.

I love the acoustic nature of this song. It helps the vocals and message cut through that much clearer. If you want some new R&B for your weekend winedown(s), this may be for you. Check it out below, check Larissa’s I Love You and It’s Getting Worse EP and support dope music in all its forms.
