Nate Bacardi Continues the Grind on “Say I Do”

An anthemic melodic rap track, Nate Bacardi’s “Say I Do” utilizes the alt-rap form to speak on his inability to lay down and give up. The emotions on “Say I Do” will grab listeners and the way Bacardi utilizes his voice as not just another instrument on the song. On this track, I believe that he blends his vocals into the instrumental to make a very cohesive song about loyalty, royalty and never saying never. Cliched phrases aside, that’s one thing that Nate doesn’t really do any of on this one; everything feels fresh, even when it feels familiar. If you need a pick-me-up or a “don’t stop just yet” in your ears this week (or weekend), I recommend that you check this one out and support dope music in all its forms, from boombap to melodic rap and all the genres and subgenres in between.
