‘Metaphor: ReFantazio’ and ‘Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’ were released months apart between October 2024 and April 2025. As a fan of gripping stories with something to say, I’ve played both. However, one question remains. Does one handle its message of trauma and loss “better” than the other?
