New To Me SOTBMusic: @DeezieBrown Fell In Love In A Two Seater (And All I Got Was This Dope Track)

Austin, Texas artist Deezie Brown has made some waves in the indie rap game, getting the first two sections of his JUDITH project featured on sites such as DJBooth. The third, “I Fell In Love In A Two Seater,” is backed by gospel-esque hits from producers SB95 and Vocirus. The heavy, soulful production allows for Deezie to compare the comforts of love at first sight and being in love with the opulence a career such as hip-hop may bring. The ambiguous track drives a dark road, one that discusses how the aforementioned comfort and opulence can drive a wedge between loving individuals if one’s not careful.
I hadn’t heard much about Deezie before this one. However, after hearing “Two Seater,” I’m definitely going to perk my ears up more if and when his name is mentioned. Check out the track below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
