Brain Rapp’s been on a roll. That’s really all I can say about the DMV (both in residence and affiliation) artist. “This All Too Shall Pass” feels very much like his “1-800-273-8255” and I’m definitely here for it. Both videos (and songs) talk on touchy issues (depression, suicide, hopelessness, and all those sorts of things), but offer a light at the end of the tunnel.

I spoke on this song’s parent project, Roller Coaster, last year and talked about its duality and looks into the life of an indie artist. This track and video expound upon that and remove the barrier of “artist,” instead opting to showcase Brain and his struggles as those of countless other men and women around the world.
