Baltimore meets NYC in the New York-filmed visuals to Baby Kahlo’s “Trance,” an aptly trippy visual for Kahlo’s latest track. The brief look into the mystical powers of Kahlo’s game (sex and otherwise) kept me intrigued enough to catch this artist’s unique approach to a partystarter. This is especially seen through the choice of production from Tokyo Tendo. Now, the song itself is not straight turn-up like, say, a “Bartier Cardi” type of track. However, it’s not straight-up Rapsody bars on top of bars, either. Kahlo found a happy middle ground and it’s where the Baltimore native thrives.
