New SOTBMusic: @AlanZMusic Tells Us About Being Discriminated Against in New Visuals

So, good news/bad news time. The good news is that I’ll probably have more time to devote to SpeedontheBeat.com in the coming weeks than I’ve had over the past few years. The bad news is that this free time comes at a compromise, as I was let go from my job a few days back. But, never the one to let bad news get me down completely (at least, not these days), here we are with some new visuals from Alan Z.

“Discriminated,” which appears on First Time’s The Charm, is a track that delves into Alan’s life as a young Asian-American child in multicultural areas (and how that’s had an effect on him, especially dealing with racism from folks who looked at him differently). Alan is a persistent and resilient force, and that shines through on “Discriminated.” Check out the powerful visuals above and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
