We often find inspiration in the least-expected places. For SOTBMusic favorite C.Shreve the Professor, his latest drop comes from the fact that his studio has a laundry room on one side of it. The idea of washing and refreshing comes into play on the track, as Shreve takes many small things to bring himself closer to peace and enjoyment.

The track, which will likely appear on Shreve’s new project, Grown (due out in September), is a lyrical exercise. However, the bars never feel empty. This is especially because of the philosophies given through the track. The production is top-tier as well, as Shreve utilizes a boombap-friendly beat from New Zealand producer ThiefofBaghdad to give us tips to achieve tranquility.
