Talking with see.francis, we both divulged that we’re Amine fans. From “Caroline” to “Reel It In,” the artist’s music is dope because it’s so chilled-out. This brings us to see’s latest release, “Kumbaya.” The song is an “I’m in my zone” track which displays an effortless flow that still hits where it needs to. It’s a bit different type of vibe from see, but it’s one that still allows him to deliver. While the first verse is a bit melodic and sing-songy, the second delivers a flow if you’re looking for that.
The song reminds me a bit of the aforementioned “Reel It In” with a bit of “Studio” and a lot of “these women will be the death of me, but I can’t let them go.” I feel that. In the pit of my soul, I feel that. While I’m currently in a relationship, there were times–while single–where I needed a woman’s energy. That led to a lot of toxicity in my life, so I had to dead that–and fast. If you’ve been in that boat (and even if you haven’t), see’s track is a perfect late-summer jam. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
