SOTBMusic: Jewel. Gives Some “Bambu Thoughts” to Close Out 2019

Jewel. was somewhat quiet in 2019. However, she has dropped “Bambu Thoughts” to reflect on this year, namely the bounceback from a breakup. Breakups are universal. Even when they’re amicable, there are a bevy of feelings that come out of the end result. The short track features Jewel. singing about the situations created through the deterioration of her relationship. From spending more time with friends to her ex seemingly moving on quickly, Jewel. lets the paper burn and the smoke take her to a reflective space. While the breakup sucked, Jewel. comes to terms with the fact that not everything ends how we think it will/should.

Featuring production from SmithWessBeats and artwork from NVNDO (f/k/a SuperNikeNando), “Bambu Thoughts” has me excited for what Jewel. will give us in 2020. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
