Juice WRLD’s re-release of his 2017 song “Let Me Know” showcases why people gravitated to the artist.
His sing-songy approach to this is melodic and catchy. It has all the trademarks of a Juice WRLD song. This song is dope mainly because you get everything you’d want and then some. Additionally, the Nick Mira production is slow, bass-heavy and hazy–which adds to the atmosphere Juice created over his career and on the track itself.
Juice rap-sings that “[he] swears to God, [he] won’t waste no time.” In the few years he dropped music, he definitely lived up to this mantra. He was always ready to create and always ready to share his story. I always respected that openness as an artist, even if I wasn’t the brother’s biggest fan. If you’re a fan of his work in any way, run the numbers up and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
