NoFace, Rapper’s first release in a few months is, in a word, fire.

In a few more words, the two-track EP Facetape is a mix of Christian-tinged hip-hop, trap music and dope flows. It sounds as if Lecrae at his most turnt collaborated with DMV producers specializing in trap rap and spit it through the view of a married father who’s from Woodbridge, Virginia. If that combination sounds awesome, then NoFace’s latest won’t disappoint.
Like the best religion-influenced hip-hop, it doesn’t beat you over the head with testifying. Instead, it opts to give God the glory while also keeping you bobbing along with it with great wordplay and modern sounds. It’s a nice addition into any playlist as it wouldn’t feel out of place with anything on the radio. Inversely, you can play it around your kids or family without a sheepish “oops” grin.
Check out the project via Bandcamp or stream it on other platforms and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
