DMV-to-NJ artist Slim D hit my line a little while ago . Because I’ve been busy with everything, I missed out on the message until today. However, it’s better to be late to a party than to never show up at all. Today, I checked out Slim’s latest, a jazzy cut called “Everyday Hussle.” It kind of reminds me of a mix between Slum Village and Little Brother in its energies. Slim talks about the grind and the effects trying to be fly AF has on him. However, he doesn’t lose focus nor does he lose hope, as God’s got him. We all have our everyday hustles, some are easy and some come with struggle. Nevertheless, we stay shining. Check out the track below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
