Connecticut artist Bodayga Drizz hit my line with “It’s Your Birthday” recently. In celebration of my own birthday tomorrow, I listened and found myself bobbing along with the beat and the energy on the track. Given everything I’ve been going through, it’s the perfect birthday anthem for a No-Fi King. It’s infectious and lends itself well to throwing ones to your favorite dancer. The wordplay is solid and the beat is pretty awesome as well. All in all, I’ve got to give this one an SOTB stamp of approval. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
