I featured one of Leon Ross’s recent tracks over on my IG. One of the things I liked about the artist is his ability to blend Christian teachings and hard-hitting lyricism while still being catchy enough to grab your ears. He continues that on the Dejuan Turrentine-aided “Better Everyday.” Ross doesn’t shy away from painting himself as a flawed individual. However, that’s what makes me vibe with this one over some other songs within the same subgenre. Over a piano-heavy beat, Ross strives to uplift his listeners with positive energies and positive messages, while still making them bob their heads along to what he’s putting down. Check out “Better Everyday” below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
