The DMV, Chicago and Russia connect on “Broken Wings,” the latest song from ARIA. ARIA is a D.C.-residing artist who’s been making waves throughout the US with viral hits and is even slated to perform at this years KYS Fest on November 10th. This is his first time appearing on SOTB and, judging from what he gave us here, it won’t be the last. Herbo gave us an elevated verse and continues to improve as an artist and a man. The production, helmed by KDDK, is infectious as it is hard-hitting. Overall, this is one helluva track and one that serves as an introduction to ARIA.

After listening to this track, I decided to give “Fashion Sense” a spin. While it’s a bit different than “Broken Wings,” it also highlights that the brother has bars and an ear for radio-friendly production that still sounds unique. Getting back to “Broken Wings,” the song is held together by a vocalist on the hook that adds to the emotion and the rawness of the bars spat on the track.
