Inswain‘s latest was described as a lyrical version of a Drake/Travis Scott song. I get that, from the liberal use of Auto-Tune and the Drake-esque beat. Why this one excels at what it’s trying to do is that it doesn’t try too hard to be something it’s not. It knows it’s a hype song with some bars, and it leans into that heavily to create the overall soundscape. It’s a solid track, one that’ll lend itself well to high-energy workout playlists. Inswain decided to do a track that was dissimilar to “Like Me” and it paid off well for him. Check out the track below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
