Dominick Giovanni is Sleepwalking

I got this one in my inbox from Dominick Giovanni this morning. I believe the best way to describe it is “it sounds like Slum Village meets Mac Miller.” It’s lyrically impressive while still delving into a journey of self-discovery and growth.

All in all, it is a beautiful song that’s made even more beautiful by the smooth lo-fi-esque production employed on “Sleepwalking.” The chorus lends itself well to stick in your head, but also stick with you and the lyrics present a story of growing through making music. It’s a simple premise that’s given its weight due to Giovanni’s storytelling ability as well as his grasp on multis.

Check out the track below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
