On Bloodline, Sam Tompkins Pays Homage to His Late Father

On “Bloodline,” we hear UK singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins providing us with some heartfelt lyrics and beautifully-sung vocals. Over the course of the track and its accompanying video, Tompkins and his mother pay homage to his father while also remembering that just because someone isn’t here in the physical, they’re still a part of who you are and a part of who you become over the years after they’re gone. The video had me in my feelings (in a good, “damn this is amazing” sort of way)–specifically because it’s coming up on my mother’s birthday. So I needed this one to drop when it did. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
