Elaine Kristal sings a story which quite a few men and women know well, one of being tested by their lover to the point of leaving. “Tested” features the singer acknowledges that she usually doesn’t go tit for tat with this person. However, here, she’s standing up and saying no more of the lies, the games and the pure BS. It’s a powerful message, one that values her own mental health and well-being over her love for this person.

Her voice’s smooth and sultry, setting the track ablaze with her cutting words. Production-wise, it’s a bit standard 2020s R&B, but it didn’t need to reinvent the wheel here.
