On “Big Bad Wolf,” Indica Wave Flips Off the Doubters

Score (another) one for the underdogs. You all know I love a good comeback story and Indica Wave is one (as she was signed, went through some things and then bounced back on her solo dolo). Her latest song, “Big Bad Wolf” is a lyrical attack on the naysayers who tried to count her out. Flow-wise, she kind of reminds me of the homie Lex Rush (in that both of their flows focus more on the lyrical content and have a bit of an old-school feel to them). Lyrically, Wave’s got some great rhymes and captures that “underdog against the world” mindset, while still maintaining the wolfish energies needed to become one of the greats. She’s witty, but jabs at the haters’ jugulars with precision. I love this one, as you can probably tell. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
