This one is made much stronger by the emotions portrayed through the song. Sonically, Misha’s production lets Markin and IKE vocalize about mental health and trying to be “brave” in the face of adversity (and questioning if that’s really the way to go about things). I like this song because it deals with mental health awareness in a way that’s not in-your-face, but still confronts some of those demons we work with and against on a daily basis. The song is chockful of Finnish artists and artistry, which gives the song a “sober Weeknd” feeling. That is, there’s some haunting moments within it, but also some very transparent moments as well. I feel that “Brave” works the most because of those transparent moments, as IKE and Markin let it be known that they don’t have all the answers.
