FEELSOUL Speaks About Black Culture on “COCOA”

This one grabbed my attention with its simple chorus, where FEELSOUL speaks on some things that are associated with Black culture and self-care, such as sea moss, cocoa butter and coconut oil. As Black people, we utilize these things to better how we feel and also just look great. The verses themselves are solid as well, as he has a spoken word-esque feel to his verses over the chill boombap beat. I love that this one also, in addition to celebrating Blackness, focuses on becoming the best you you can become, be it through entrepreneurialship or just doing your best to prosper. I love this one and its positive message, and I feel you all will too because it’s Cole-esque in its approach without feeling too overbearing. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
