Over a beat that incorporates international instruments and guitars, NishoSoul’s latest features the DMV artist/podcaster on a new wave. I, for one, am here for this one. Of course, that should be a given. After all, Soul’s been an SOTB favorite for years at this point. On “All Me,” Soul sounds like a mix between another SOTB favorite (DMV rapper Charlie From The Couny) and J. Cole while he’s promoting positivity, showing out and a bit of showing off your love (within reason). I like this one because it shows a different side of Soul–and makes me want to hop on the remix (if there ever was one, sign me TF up).
The beat, produced by Yung N Icy, reminds me of something you’d hear a TDE artist or KRIT hop on and lay some soulful bars. Said bars would probably be about life and embracing the greatness of it all. Even though this is a different vibe, Soul’s lyricism is still on point. So, if you’re here for the bars, you won’t be disappointed. Now, if you’re like me and you’re excited for what Soul’s working on for 2022, you know what to do.
Check this one out to whet your appetite and support dope music in all its forms.
