Teenaged rapper Lord Sko’s “Nujabes Freestyle” is exactly what you’d expect from a rhymesayer over a classic producer’s instrumental. I’m here for it, all the way.
Over the “Luv (sic)” instrumental, we get a minute-and-a-half of blazing lyricism from the now-seventeen-year-old New York rhymer. Even between his “Easy” track and this one, you can see a healthy dose of growth and maturation of the flow, his schemes and the lyrics as a whole. You can tell that he loves the music, loves the art behind the music and loves to flex his lyrical muscles as needed for the music. I ran this one back a few times before posting. Not because I was unsure of whether I would, but because it was a great freestyle.
Check it out below, support dope music in all its forms and pay homage to the greats whenever you can.
