Olumide Remixes Ari Lennox on “Pressure”

Here, we’ve got the latest verse from one of the DMV’s dopest rappers, Olumide. Tackling fellow DMV native Ari Lennox’s “Pressure,” Olumide presents himself as a player–but an honest one. The track’s only about a verse long, but he accomplishes a helluva lot in that short time.

Between laying out there what he’s looking for (ultimately love)–and how he’s planning to come across it (ultimately just playing the field until something shakes and makes sense)–you’re given a lot to digest here. Plus, Olumide’s verse is player without being obnoxious and playful without being goofy. That’s always been one of his strong suits, but it’s definitely on display here.
