Money Motiv Blends R&B and Rap on “Black Haze”

Money Motiv’s “Black Haze” features the artist singing a bit, but also delivering a bevy of hard-hitting lyrics. For a comparison, think mixtape Drake mixed with Freddie Gibbs. He’s got that gruffness like Gibbs, but also has a smoothness to his lyrics and vocals like Drake. “Black Haze” is also one of those tracks that’s infectious, but is also quite lyrical. It’s conscious without beating you in the face with how smart it is and street without having to pull out the piece on anyone. In other words, it’s the perfect track to introduce Motiv to you, the SOTB Faithful. Check out the track below and remember the slogan: support dope music in all its forms.
