Saadiq Presents “Fallen Leaves”

A song that blends jazz-rap and Kendrick Lamar’s “Silent Hill,” artist Saadiq’s “Fallen Leaves” finds the young man speaking on how times can–and will–change, sometimes at the drop of a pin. One of the songs of Saadiq’s Autumn project, “Leaves” is a standout because of its honesty and its production. If you’re in the mood for some introspective hip-hop which details growth and maturation, this one’s for you. Heck, even if that’s not your MO today, you should give this one a listen just because of its airy, somewhat spacy production. Check out the track below via SoundCloud, be on the lookout for the project to drop on other DSPs and support dope music in all its forms.
