A song about regret and not being able to let go until it’s too late, Polo Jordan’s “Let Me Know” is buoyed by an emotional beat and great melodic lyricism. The song grabbed me because of its relatable subject matter, as I’ve had to cut off people because they weren’t there for my growth. It’s never easy, but it’s necessary at times. As the song says, it’s hard to let go of people and situations–even if they’re unhealthy. Its honesty is what won me over, along with its sound.
