Baltimore singer/songwriter/etc. XHRIIY has been a homie to me and the SOTB Faithful for the last couple years. She’s a talented artist who puts everything into her music, just like she does with her other ventures. Her hustler’s ambition helps her outwork many individuals, because she’s here for the long haul, not just for today.

Her latest track, “But Bae…,” finds the artist embracing love, nature, and the beauty of this sometimes dark world. It’s less of a traditional love song and more of an arrangement that finds XHRIIY stating that she’ll be around through the long haul. The visuals make it less about just a romantic love and more of a familial and friendly love, which adds to the range of the vocals. I love her sweet harmonies and vocals, as they’re so clean, so crisp and so powerful.
