A song about “how do you know if you’re in love,” Shanae’s “Illusions” is an incredibly-done song that finds the Sydney-born South African artist being very personal and vulnerable. I like the instrumentals, but I really like the vocals. They’re so crisp, so smooth, and you can hear the vulnerability throughout them. It’s one of those tracks that’ll have you singing along with it, but also one that you can play in the middle of the evening to set a mood.
