British Takes Listeners Back to Jazz Rap with “Raceway”

UK rapper Briti$h makes his SOTBMusic debuts with the jazz rap-friendly cut “Raceway.” It’s exactly what you’d expect from a track like this, as it’s very lyrical and the production is strong. Lyrically, it’s a cut where you find Briti$h delivering rapid lyrics about the positives and negatives about growing up. From lyrics about bad habits and bars about enjoying life as it comes, this is one of those tracks that’ll get stuck with you—and possibly make you want to rap over your own jazz rap production.

The visuals are also a thing of beauty, as they find the young wordsmith surrounded by equipment reminiscing about days past. I also like the visuals because they don’t spend five minutes setting up. Instead, they get going quickly which allows listeners to see his thought processes and also just see a solid video from the young artist.

Check out the track above and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
