Chris Cassius and NVSV Present the Gritty “Flyer Miles”

First of all, John Wells is a chameleon. He blends in anywhere he goes musically, but never forgets his roots. I say that because Wells (aka NAWDUMMY) handles the production on this gritty, Baltimore track from Chris Cassius and NVSV. “Flyer Miles” features the two artists trading bars and just letting it be known that their collective, Tew World Order, is one of Baltimore’s brightest upcoming collectives. I’m glad to see the younguns getting their just due, especially because it reminds people of the OGs who helped pave the way for them, either through write-ups or through music. That said, the future in Baltimore’s hip-hop scene is bright as long as folks like Cassius are rapping. I love the bars here, and I also love the intricacy of said bars. It’s like Cassius and NVSV woke up and chose lyrical violence. Check out the track below (and buy it via Bandcamp) and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
