When I first heard this one, I had the screw face on. That’s because, while it has that distinct late-2000s boombap sort of feel to it, the lyrics (and the production) feels timeless. Plus, Rojas rapped his ass off–and I’m always here for a solid track with BARS! “Creep Wit Me” is one of those cuts that should be played at the highest volume and while you’re cruising through the city. It’s gritty, but it’s also smooth within its grit. This one is slated to appear on Rojas’ Breaking Point 2, which serves as the sequel to one of Rojas’ first collections. I’m excited, especially if the sounds we’re going to get have that screw-your-face-up feel to them. Be on the lookout when that drops.
For now, check out “Creep” below and support dope music in all its forms.
