Basi and Mikos Da Gawd Don’t Sink on “Titanic”

A track meant for late summer cruising, “Titanic” is also a cut that finds the Oakland rapper and poet creating an atmosphere for new beginnings and smooth endings/landings. I love the production on this one, handled by Mikos Da Gawd. It sets the mood perfectly for Basi to come through with some incredible rhymes and vibes, especially those about trying to save someone in a turbulent relationship. I love this one’s honesty as well, since it doesn’t pull punches. “Titanic” is slated to appear in the duo’s 2023 EP. If it’s anything like this, you’re going to get a healthy dose of honesty and reality-based lyricism. Check it out above and support dope music in all its forms.
