I like that this one’s a playful but honest look at love, sensuality, sexuality and freedom of expression. I also like that the visuals reminds me of early-2000s pop videos, down to some of the shots used within them. Finally, I love Barron’s voice; it sounds a bit like Amy, a bit like Alicia and a bit like Motown soul. There’s also a jazziness to her vocals, that’s only made more potent by the fact that this one came about after Barron felt “spicy” after being stuck inside during quarantine and wanted to get frisky. The visuals are kind of like a mix between Hustlers and any mid-2000s girls-are-awesome-and-stronger-than-stupid-boys visuals. I just really like this one, as you can probably tell. I liked the visuals so much that I checked out the parent projects, a four-track EP called Angel Numbers. Check it all out below and support dope music in all its forms.
