Hey I’m Cee hit my line with their most-recent track, “Pimp Cee” a few hours back. After I listened, I knew I had to write about it. “Pimp Cee” is an intriguing track, as it bounces between Zack Fox surrealism and lyrically-dense boombap.

It’s kind of like if Del the Funky Homosapien and Afroman got high together and then rapped about all the wonderous (but sometimes confusing) things in the world. I like what Cee did on this one, because it also blends a Pimp C interview with dinosaur facts. It seems like it’s all over the place, but there’s definitely a method to the “madness.”

It’s eclectic, that’s for damn sure. However, that’s what makes this one a must-listen. It presents to listeners who Cee is and why we should pay attention to what they’re putting down. Check out the track below and do the thing. Support dope music in all its forms.
