Tristan Simone Speaks on Mental Health on “Music is Dead”

I’d rather you just listen to this one versus me telling you why you should. That’s how much this one got to me. It’s a powerful song about Tristan’s struggles with mental health. I love the instrumentation, as it’s emotional enough to grab you and make you pay attention. It also seems to play as a track that speaks on how the hip-hop game has changed for artists over the years. That’s obviously not the main point, but it’s an undertone.

As someone who struggles at times with my own mental health concerns, I felt this one. So, please check it out above and support dope music in all its forms. More importantly, know that you’ve always got someone in your corner and that you’re never alone–even if it feels like it sometimes.
