We made it, y’all! It’s the freaking weekend. Let’s thank God, give thanks to our friends and family and turn up (responsibly). This week, if you’ve been following me on socials (particularly IG) has been tough as hell for me. Mental illness ain’t no whore. All you can do is roll with the punches, stay on your feet, surround yourself with good people and good times and keep reminding yourself that this feeling is temporary–even if it feels like it’s going on forever.

This volume of Quickies is the 79th edition, which is pretty cool. That’s especially since Quickies started as a small post here or there about five to seven songs I couldn’t write a whole piece about. We’ve got tracks from all across the world, from Baltimore to Australia to the UK. And as such, we’ve got sounds from all over the world as well.
