I like that Kali Sade’s “Don’t Worry” has an Aaliyah-meets-Summer Walker sort of vibe to it. From the vocals to the production, it’s as if it’s from the ’90s and today all at once. There are vulnerable moments and moments of strength and growth, mimicking the way relationships grow and mature. Plus, the harmonies here are very beautiful as they bring to mind R&B of my childhood. If you want some laidback, soulful vibes this afternoon, check out “Don’t Worry” below and do the thing we do around these parts: support dope music in all its forms.
