The third single the pcoming After Twelve EP, “Out of Time” gives us Nas meets Lucy Pearl vibes. And yes, that’s technically cheating because those are two of the artistic sources he said that were similar to “Time.” The sound, beat-wise, reminds me of DJ Premier or even Dilla, but the lyrics sound like something you’d hear Nas put out.

That said, Riley Writtens (a/k/a Riley Writts) has writtens that are a beautiful sight to behold. The artist floats over the production to create a track that has a lot to say, but is also very vibey. Add in a lovely hook, and you’ve got my attention for sure.
