I think the best way to describe “Love Potion” is that it’s like a collaboration between Lil Baby and Bryson Tiller. There are melodic rap moments right alongside tender R&B Melodie’s and harmonies. Plus, most will be able to relate to its story of loving someone even against the thoughts of their friends and family. The heart wants what the heart wants. As long as the love isn’t toxic, I say “go for it.”
What also helps make this one stand out is that the production is radio-ready, but still incredibly soulful. That allows everyone involved to let loose and speak their opinions on love and the like.
