JOE (or rather, J.O.E.) hit my line with his latest track, “Sailing.” I’ve got to tell you: it’s something about chill vibes and lyrics about disconnecting from society that will always get me raring to post about the artist. I like this track because it reminds me of a mix of Blu and Curren$y with a dash of Larry June in there. It’s a chill smoker-friendly track, but it’s also pretty thought-provoking in its message. We spend too much time doing everything for everyone and being connected. Sometimes, it’s nice to just get back to basics–like J.O.E. does here.
