Kanye has been on several for the last few years. From saying slavery was a choice to his support of Trump to his recent anti-Semitism rants, it’s clear to see that Ye is not well. Perhaps it’s because he has a lot of yes men around him. Perhaps it’s a terrible manic episode brought on by stress. I’m not condoning his actions. That said, as someone who was unmedicated for my own bipolar episodes about ten-to-twelve years ago, they can make you do wild shit (especially if you’re not properly medicated).
Kosha Dillz, on “Death Con 3,” doesn’t think that Kanye should be outright cancelled. Dillz obviously doesn’t condone West’s rants. However, he feels that Ye’s comments were way out of line and need to be checked. Considering that West has a lot of people who look up to him, his way of thinking is harmful.
Dillz should know something about redemption from harmful comments. He’s a cast member on Nick Cannon’s Wild N’ Out. I’m sure I don’t need to go into Cannon’s cancellation and redemption. However, Cannon, unlike West, learned from his errors and has done a lot of work with the Jewish community.
Check out the song above, support dope music in all its forms and remember that we’re stronger together than divided.
