201JUN, Lij-Aman and RadikalHindu Present “DVD”

I like this one because it takes me back in the day (read: the late-2000s and early-2010s when I was wild and young). The song itself serves as a back-in-the-day sort of vibe for the artists as well. That’s because it was crafted around the idea of “early 2000s TV and music in Indian and Ethiopian immigrant households.” I hear that as well, mainly because I had a healthy helping of friends from those countries over the years. I also just hear a vibe, one that wants you to chill out, relax and enjoy some DVDs. The chorus is one that’ll have you singing along with it and the lyrics are pretty solid as well.
