Ay Wing Presents Bloodstream

A song about coming to terms with things, “Bloodstream” is a song for all those people who’ve suppressed emotions and have lost touch of their own bodies. As with a lot of the mental health awareness songs I’ve featured this week, I’ve been there. I’ve bottled things up until I’ve been sick and legitimately lost control. It’s not a pretty sight and it’s not one I’d recommend ever experiencing.

I love Wing’s openness on this song, as the indie Pop & B song just puts you into her headspace. Wing says that by translating her experience into music, she’s been able to understand those around her better. More importantly, she’s been able to understand herself a bit better. That’s a win any way you slice it. Check out the track on its parent album below and support dope music in all its forms.
