Tracy Lamont Presents the Groovy “Avoidance in A Minor”

Over a jazzy beat produced by J.Phree, “Avoidance in A Minor” is equal parts smoker’s anthem and “I’m going to escape my problems for a bit by not thinking about them.” I enjoyed the way that Lamont floated over the beat, as it brought to mind artists like Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa. If you need a wake and bake anthem for these chilly late-fall mornings, this one may be for you. I also enjoyed the fact that the lyrics speak on a variety of topics and feature Lamont’s now-signature wordplay and multis. The brother’s got talent, plus he can crank out great tracks with ease. He’s doing well for those who love Virginia lyricism; this includes yours truly. Check out the track below and support dope music in all its forms.
