Malou Madi Discusses Jealousy on “Jalouse”

This one from Malou Madi was described as an “exploration of¬†cosmic alternative RnB and indie-pop with an emotional twist.” I couldn’t think of any better way to describe it. The song discusses jealousy and how, oftentimes, it’s pretty stupid to feel. However, it acknowledges that it can happen and discusses how we should navigate a relationship where jealousy has crept in. The video is simple but very effective, as it feature Madi singing into the camera while applying a face mask as jealousy, seemingly personified by twitches and tweaks within Madi’s facial expression, creeps in while she tries to fight it. It’s very effective. Check it all out below and support dope music in all its forms.
